THE RECLINK COMMUNITY CUP Muso’s and Media-heads footy for a reason

The Reclink Community Cup,
a highly anticipated nation-wide Aussie Rules football charity match that pits musicians against the media, is back for its fifth year in WA. This year’s local edition, The Perth Reclink Community Cup will take place on the hollowed grounds of Fremantle Community Bank Oval on Saturday, October 5.

The Bandgropers (WA Musicians) will be facing The Newshounds (Media and community organisations) once more, and on field entertainment will be provided by locals Noah Dillon and The Little Lord Street Band plus a very special AFL nines game at half time of Reclink Perth’s finest. There’ll be tasty food stalls and both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages on offer.

All profit for the events will go to Reclink Australia, an organisation that uses sport and the arts to enhance the lives of people experiencing disadvantage. Reclink supports some of the community’s most vulnerable and isolated people – those experiencing mental illness, disability, homelessness, substance abuse, addiction and social and economic hardship.

The 5thAnnual Reclink Community Cup takes place on the Fremante Community Bank Oval on Saturday, October 5. Gates open 12pm.
