RTRFM’S NEON PICNIC In the Pines precursor returns

RTRFM’s Neon Picnic
returns with a day long, family friendly outside broadcast in the luscious surrounds of Hyde Park on Saturday, March 23 between 11am and 7pm.

The precursor to RTRFM’s much loved In The Pines music festival is now an annual family friendly get together during a lovely summer’s day at the Hyde Park Amplitheatre. Head along to spend the day with RTR’s line up of Saturday shows: Global Ryhthm Pot, Homegrown, Drastic on Plastic and Jamdown Vershun, plus special musical guests. Best of all it’s free entry!

Join RTRFM presenters as they play you their favourite tunes live and direct. Bring the kids for some special arts and crafts activities from the team at Spaced Out, face painting from Lauren Salt, hula hooping and fun times. Plus, mums and dads can relax in the licensed bar thanks to Feral Brewing and Skigh Wines or grab a bite from Satchmo Café, The Tapi Truck and Summer 1954, or a coffee and icecream from Grey Means Well and The Milky Monster.

You can even bring your dog and enjoy live sets from Jere Sosa with his relaxed Argentinian grooves; the indie pop magic of The Struggling Kings; local music troubadour Michael Savage; Perth’s finest saxophone quartet Meraki; the out of this world sounds of Fourth State (pictured above, plus check out their latest single Lost In Dreams below); and the straight reggae jams of Zarm.

RTRFM’s Neon Picnic hits Hyde Park on Saturday, March 23 between 11am and 7pm. Free entry.
