RTRFM is heading to the port city again this spring for a multi-venue festival to celebrate Perth’s local talent and raise money to keep RTRFM on the air. RTRFM’s Fremantle Spring Festival features 10 mint acts across two venues – head to Freo’s newest favourite music haunts, Rock Rover and The Aardvark, on Saturday, October 19.
Things will get eclectic at the home of the Bulldogs, Rock Rover. Catch Fremantle’s newest favourite son Jack Davies & The Bush Chooks (pictured above), post-punk legends Nerve Quakes, the magic of Siobhan Cotchin, the floating melodies of Airline Food and the drone, experimental flavours of Erasers. Plus, RTRFM’s Drivetime host Casey McLean will be bringing the party home on the decks.
Down the road, bask in the underground wonder of the The Aardvark, where things will get loud with the punk vibes of Last Quokka, Bikini Cops, Grunge Barbie and The Mascara Snakes. RTRFM leads you on a journey back into the heart of Fremantle across two venues and a mass of local talent.
