PERTH RECLINK COMMUNITY CUP Who is lining up for the cup?

The 3rd annual Perth Reclink Community Cup is taking place at Fremantle Oval Sunday, September 3, 2017. And there are some big names lining up for both sides this year.

WA musicians join forces in the Bandgropers, who are looking to make it 3 wins in a row. The 2017 team is coached by founding Fremantle Dockers Captain Ben Allen and will feature members of Dream Rimmy, Eskimo Joe, Sugar Army, POW Negro and Koi Child.

Meanwhile community media and industry all-stars the Newshounds are still desperately searching for their first win and have pulled out the big guns. This year’s best 22 includes WA Treasurer Ben Wyatt and Fremantle Mayor Dr Brad Petit under the watchful eye of coach Clint Wheeldon from ABC Grandstand.

There’s also plenty of action off the field with some of the best bands in town providing entertainment on the day such as End of Fashion, The Floors, The Brow and DJs throughout.

The Reclink Community Cup celebrates Australia’s dynamic music and community broadcasting sectors all whilst raising funds to help Reclink Australia provide sporting and art opportunities for disadvantaged Australians.
