No Lights No Lycra (NLNL) is a dance night that was started in 2009 in Melbourne by unconventional dance students Alice Glenn and Heidi Barrett. There is no lights, no lycra, no teacher, no steps to learn, no technique, just free movement. No Lights No Lycra is a place where you can completely let go and shake out the stresses of the week in a friendly, non-threatening, drug and alcohol free atmosphere. It’s a place to experience new tunes and revisit old favourites, a time to lose yourself in the music while working up a sweat. Through word of mouth the night has grown into a global community who share a passion for this experience.
