BIG ORANGE Famous on the streets

Local up and coming power pop outfit Big Orange launch their debut EP Streets on Friday, August 4 at The Odd Fellow, Fremantle. Support comes from Carla Geneve, Coco Blu and Telete.

The 5-track EP, released in July, features the band’s biggest single to date, Famous, which featured on RTRFM’s Sound Selection upon release, received extensive airplay across FBi radio in Sydney, cracked the #8 spot on the AMRAP community radio airplay charts, and is getting plenty of positive feedback from the triple j at Unearthed currently.

“This alternates between clean and chunky and it’s just an all-round good time…” triple j’s Dave Ruby Howe said. “They know their way into your head – the shimming guitars, soaring synths and irresistible melodies of the first few songs they’ve released get stuck in your head for hours,” says RTRFM’s Caitlin Neinaber.
